I can walk twice as fast with this trimmer than i could with the 18v. Which has a better product portfolio. I have 12 18v batteries so i m not really worried about run time on the batteries. This ryobi string trimmer being a refurbished tool has no distinction with a new tool and its added advantage is that it comes with a 1 year warranty.
