In order to get my shapes and details nice and smooth i am having to work too hard on it. Oil paint can take days or weeks to be even supericially dry but acrylic paint may dry in a matter of minutes.
Fine sandpaper gently helps to smooth out the dried acrylic paint surface evening out the face to remove any of those imperfections which were not intended.
